We have just returned from a 14-day 13-night Kenya and Tanzania wildlife safari with Africa Veterans Safaris Ltd, organized by Martin Mugo. During the safari planning period, Martin always promptly answered our email questions and concerns regarding our safari itinerary and was very helpful. On arrival, Martin briefed us, settled the safari balance, and departed for our dream safari with our driver, James. This guide was really nice to us, took great care of us, always drove safely, and knew where to find all the animals. He is very passionate about his job and very knowledgeable about the animal’s behavior. We got to see the Famous Flamingos as well as the big five. James can spot animals from a very far distance during the game drives. In short, we had an amazing safari as a whole during our entire Africa trip with them. As expected, he knew all the animals and where to find most, but he also knew all of the birds we saw, which was a bonus for me.
